• Introduction to EU Funding Mechanisms: Overview of Horizon Europe, which includes opportunities in EU research programme, IHI, EDCTP, and other international programs.
• Financial Management: Best practices - based on 26 years of experience of EVI.
• Reporting and Compliance: Navigating legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
• Consortium Coordination: Effective collaboration in multinational projects.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential challenges.

Overview

This comprehensive course equips participants with essential skills to manage grants effectively, focusing on EU-funded programs such as Horizon Europe, IHI (Innovative Health Initiative), EDCTP (European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership), and other international financing schemes. Designed to address the complexities of grant administration, the course combines practical insights with hands-on exercises, ensuring participants are well-prepared to handle project reporting, compliance, and financial management.

Scholarships

We are pleased to offer free registration and travel funding to selected researchers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). These registration and travel grants for LMIC applicants are generously sponsored by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).
